A hardy, herbaceous, clump_forming perennial reaching to 120cm in height. Spread 45cm. The sparsely branched, upright stems bear large, open sprays of purplish-pink flowers from late summer to late autumn. Good cut flower. Prefers a moderately fertile, well-drained to moist soil in sun or partial shade.
