Pulsatilla vulgaris “Alba”

Ht. 15cm. Spr.20cm. with white flowers. A hardy, herbaceous, clump-forming perennial with finely divided, pinnate foliage. Young foliage is quite hairy but this is lost as the leaves mature. In spring, large, pendant, open, bell-shaped flowers are borne on 15cm high stems. These are followed by decorative, fluffy seed heads. Prefers a well-drained soil and a sunny position.
